Elder Hunter Hassell Mission

  mega packed week are you ready? k set. gooooooo!!!!!!!! This week we went ice skating and played soccer as a district and it was awesome! and then we had a zone training and we had to prepare it on walking with Christ and how we can rely on him more. We got a referral from a Hungarian woman and she wants both her sons to learn the gospel and be baptized and so that was fresh strawberries, and we met one of them and hes super cool! He has interesting ideas about the bible tho but his moms like "but hes going to be baptized" end of conversation haha but theyre sweet. Then it finally got warmer and the sun was out! we have a deck and one of the day i went out on the deck and just played some guitar and lemme tell you golden moment. I got to go down to my church in Goshen which was an hour away and as we were getting close the fog came in! It was so dense and made everything feel like i was in a spooky movie. then we took some pictures with an angry alpaca in fog, evidence belo...

  Twas an interesting and uninteresting week We worked so hard, for Christ the people seek We taught them of his incredible plan And helped them to see his holy Hand Truly a miracle we did see When calling a lady she said to me- We called it quits with the church 3 years ago If we would return there we did not know But there was an accident and we lost our son We thought of the church and how could we be done? I called them up to ask to go again Because in so long we have not been The phone rang but no one was there Then three days later we got a call out of nowhere It was you, the missionaries, a memory of the past! My heart beat faster and the tears came fast Im so happy to be a missionary now Even with covid all through the town -elder hassell

  Good evening i hope you all are experiencing an incredible   week . As for my   week . Also incredible. We are finally finding tons of new people. We also started teaching this guy who believes in literally all the conspiracy theories, and he always has super deep questions. Another guy we started teaching is also puttin us through the wringer with the deep questions but rest assured, we didnt look like buffoons the whole time. Anyways we saw a mouse in our apartment and i ate a mango and thats about. Love Elder Hassell ps i need corinne bailey to please send me an  email  

  Hullo everyone, big things this  week . First I decided to give myself a haircut. looks decent i think haha. Second we had this thing called a mission tour! One of the seventy Elder Johnson came and spoke to us for a couple days. It was an incredible experience and super spiritual. He asked us to treasure up the scriptures and the Gospel, and if Jesus looked at the things that you treasure what would he find. So basically I am going to try to make the Gospel and scriptures my passion. Third we had a lesson with two tiktok preachers. They weren't that old but they knew the scriptures like the back of their hand. Sadly they only wanted to teach us and wouldn't listen to what we wanted to teach. But its okay. Also one of our Friends wants to get baptized but has some addictions, if you all could pray for him that would be awesome!!! -Elder Hassell Heres the before and after my haircut:)

  Whats up guysss, this  week  was pretty interesting. We were able to get in contact with a bunch of people and we might start teaching a few people this  week , so yayy. Also me and my comp were juggling a soccer ball with our feet in the apartment but then we knocked over a lamp and broke the bulb, so we stopped doing that for now. I also got blocked by facebook from sending out to many friend requests and the real spiritual takeaway from that is Facebook is actually run by the the devil. Felt the need to start drinking a gallon a day again so i bought a gallon of orange juice for the container and it now every gallon i drink has a hint of orange juice. #blessings Thats basically it sorry i forgot to take pictures but we've actually had some pretty snazzy sunsets recently. maybe I'll take a picture next time Love  Elder Hassell

  hi guys, good stuff this  week . we got a lot of snow and even more rain, and had our zone conference last  week ! they gave every companionship a full pizza!!!!! and we got an extra pizza too cause we stayed and cleaned up #werebasicallygoodsamaritans we also have been doing a lot of Facebook finding and we almost set up 3 lessons, but they all canceled. we also got some good  weekly  service at a nice little indoor skate park where youths can read to skate for free. we were basically just sorting the books, but the dude that runs it is so rad. my comp and i have become friends and you would be surprised how much easier it is to do the work when youre working with a friend. i had a lesson with one of the guys and at the end of the lesson i had some random words pop into my head and i just said them, and he ended up posting them on facebook and saying how he was really touched.  thats basically all that happened this  week , minus the crepes i made, ...

  hi guys, thanks for tuning in to THE  WEEKLY   EMAIL  this  week  was legendary. we delivered some book of mormons taught tons of people and even set up another baptismal date! we also got to go to a relief society and get to know the ward a little, and this  week  were gonna go to in person church for the first time in foreverrrr. i have been getting to know the district a lot better and me, my comp, the other elders that live with us and the spanish elders have started to play basketball everyday, good stuff. THE FOOD PARAGRAPH i finally got my own food and i gotta say life doesnt get better. i made some killer no yeast bread. insane. made some wicked pancakes, freaking amazing breakfast burrito, complete with a side of hashbrowns. perfectly seasoned chicken breast. some excellent salads. and a beautiful omelet. i also made a cinnamon apple spice bread but it was only good not glorious. anyways much love, elder hassell
