April 26, 2021 | Week 33 in the field | Torrington, CT | Goshen Ward | Elder Eskelson

 Sooooo this week was kinda cool. We had our first in person exchanges with our president and that was so awesome and it was a 4 hour drive hahaha. We also had some in person exchanges and that was mega lit boy hours. 

Oh and we had this totally cool thing happen. so we were out putting up fliers for spanish classes around town and this guy stopped us and was like hey you guys use to come over to my place! It was good to talk with him and we gave him our number.
This week we had a tornado warning but sadly we didnt have a tornado but we got some hail
We had our district p day too and played volleyball and kickball👌👌
and i buzzed my head
hugs and kisses (only to the guys tho, cause we refrain from kissing girls till after the mission)

  Its me again! We did tons of cool stuff this week, to start with we had another zone gathering and it went great. There was an Elder there who was really good at arm wrestling and had never lost on the mission! But i ruined it for him and became his first loss. At the same zone gathering things became heated between me and another Elder and he kissed me. Through a mask.  Transfer texts came out too and guess whattttt im leaving to Norwich! The area ive been in has been so great and the members really taught me about charity. We had an awesome family sing me a song about "transfer day" to the tune of "yesterday" probably the best rendition ive heard. We also had some mission drama but i wont go into it haha i saw a deer love elder hassell

August 9, 2021 | Week 48 in the field | Groton, CT | Ward | Elder Ferrell

  whats jiggin' my chickenss this week was pretty sick, both ways. we had a bunch of member visits and got to eat with some members too. Some of the kids in one of our visits kept challenging my physical abilities so of course i had to set the record straight with some contests like racing around the house, handstand holds and cartwheels. we also had a tree fall on our house and they had to cut the power and stuff, real interesting.  miracle moment  i was having a rough day, getting overwhelmed and stuff and we were out walking to someplace and this random guy came up to us from the other side of the street and we were able to talk with about Christ and we said a prayer with him and gave him a card with the address to the church on it! He was homeless but him coming over to talk to us was definitely a tender mercy and showed me that God has my back Love Elder Hassell
