July 25, 2022 | Week 98 in the field | Avon, CT | Avon/Canton Wards | Elder Duclose

 Good evening just want everyone to know we saw a bear while tracting. A massive bear. Just going through this persons trash! It was absolutely legendary. We had another person threaten to kill us if we got on their property. But we found an absolutely golden person. We got a "self referral" or request from this person to visit with us. So we had called her but she never answered so we went to go visit in person and it turned out to be a rehab center but we were able to get in and we found her! She told us she actually didnt request it but listened to us anyway. We ended up teaching her a whole ton and she was so interested that we came back the next day. We taught her about the plan of salvation and she absolutely loved it, so much so that she told us she stayed up until 3 in the morning reading the book of mormon and the Plan of Salvation pamphlet! Super coop lady. Oh yeah so now i am in Avon/Canton and we are literally 2 mintues from the Temple! We actually got to go this last friday too!!!

 super great week guys. so we had the transfers and they took a while (along the way i learned how to uninstall and install tiwi) then boom were finally in Norwich CT. the areas pretty dead so we have been outside absolutely grinding and we were able to see some fruit that sunday! we met some Thailand people and got there number and shared the restoration with them and then our man Paveen showed up to church! We also found and taught a jamaican dude so that fulfilled one of my dreams. a lot of the ward remembered me from last year and it was awesome to be back.  elder hassell

  whats jiggin my chickens hope everythings going well on your end cause its pretty freaking awesome on mine!!!!!!! this week i started training a new missionary, elder hicks! we have been grinding real hard and have seen tons of miracles, for example we were just out one night kinda by our church (which is in a plaza) talking to the branch president and his wife and a lady drove up and wanted to know if we were the karate people or jehovahs witnesses. so we told her about the church and everything and she was interested and all that good stuff! super great times anyways a lot of other stuff happened like a graveyard run but i forgot right now so PEACE  elder hassell

January 31 , 2022 | Week 73 in the field | Lynnfield, MS | Ward | Elder Burrell

  Hello again!! Its that time of the week again!! This week was crazzyyy we had transfers and my new area (Lynnfield) is awesome! We have so many people that we are teaching and so many who are prepared for baptism and more just keep showing up:)) My new companion is Elder Burrell and hes awesome and is a runner so we have been going on runs in the morning! We got an enormous amount of snow and we got to dig out the church and it was pretty fun haha Also my MTC companion is in my district and this is the first time we got to be together after 17 months!!
